Prior to founding Starnex, Mr. Park worked for several security system companies as a senior engineer, and he was the CEO/President of First I&T. He has applied for 4 patents related to various fields of security, and got 5 patents so far. The patents include Regulation System for Traffic-Law Violations based on Image Processing Algorithm, and Local Area Defense System based on 3-Dimensional Tracking Method of Target Image.

Self-Guard™ is developed with all of STARNEX’s own technology for hardware, software, firmware, and algorithm by the CEO/President (head engineer) of the company, and holds a patent for it. He has 25 years of experience in hardware, 20 years in software, and he owns a PhD degree from Seoul National University majoring in digital image compression and processing algorithm. Based on his solid and outstanding technological knowledge, Mr. Park has succeeded in realizing his
ideas for inventing Self-Guard™, and came up with the world's smallest, mobile, wireless, and covert CCTV system.
